Fall in Buenos Aires. Somehow the frequency of my posts has gone down to once per season, or something like that. It is getting cold, yesterday and today we've had the first idea of winter to come. Not that it is anything as bad as Germany, during the day it still gets to 15, so I don't complain, but still... I love the light this time of the year, it's so clear and brilliant, sparkling. Reminds me of 2003, also April, when I came here first and fell in love with the city. Days bright like that, walking through Boedo barrio, the autumn colored trees. Maybe the best season in Buenos Aires. I get flashes of what I felt like in the beginning.
This has been a long weekend, with labour day off, so I am relaxing a bit, mostly at home, a few social visits, nothing big - that's all I want these days, no big escapades.
In other news, most of you will know by now that my long-time friend and companion, my Sony Vaio FX-601, was professionally disappropriated from me, in a San Telmo restairant, and I had to replace it, and despite the fact that I did have backups, quite a few things, especially email messages, got lost, so if I seem unusually silent, I may simply lost the last email you sent. I guess sometime it had to happen to me, too, and this time I won't be cursing Argentina, since this could have happened in any part of the world just as easily. Tough luck.
Hope to get heating for this winter. Not much else new.
